Teenagers in our society long to experience the thrill of life. With entertainment at the tip of their fingers, they use it hoping to find satisfaction. However, we at Extreme Camps understand that the only experience that can bring satisfaction in a human’s soul is an encounter with Jesus Christ, the living God.
The Extreme Camps experience is designed specifically to help teens gain:
- Revelation: We show how the gospel can relate & transform the fabric of their life (2 Cor. 5:17).
- Transformation: Jesus Christ declared how he came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We have designed camps in such a way that it helps campers become aware of their bondage, give them opportunities to begin the path to freedom, and help them gain practical steps to keep walking in freedom.
- Encounter: We bring the campers into the presence of God in order for them to realize that there is fullness of joy in Him (Ps. 16:11) and that Christ came to give life abundantly (John 10:10) because He can do more then we ask or can imagine (Eph. 3:23).
- Purpose: We show campers how there is power in God through the Holy Spirit (Act 1:8) and the word of God (Jeremiah 20:9) in order for them to be confident to go out and reach the lost the same way Christ reached them (Matthew 28:16-20).
