Extreme Worship

Teen Mania’s Extreme Camps has had the School of Worship Track. This has been an opportunity for the youth that come to Extreme Camps to be trained as worship leaders and musicians.

This year we are taking it to a new Extreme! Check out what we will be offering….

Do you play an instrument or sing? Do you like running lights, sound, and the production side of the music industry?

Come join us for the opportunity of a life time and be trained by Teen Mania’s School of Worship! Take Instrument lessons for your specific instrument and sharpen your skills in production with members and
leaders within the School of Worship training you.

During this week you will also have the opportunity to meet Guest Artist that will be playing for Extreme Camps and ask them the questions that have been on your mind. If you are a part of the production track then you will have the opportunity to sit in on their sound checks.

Throughout the week we will equip you to take what you have learned and implement it into your youth group, church, and community. This is a week that will impact the way you worship for the rest of your life.

Summer camp activities extremified

Extreme camps isn’t your typical christian summer camp. We like to think we take it to the edge in our activities, our worship, and in our personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

We are always on the hunt for new activities to keep it there. We have considered sky diving, ATV 4 wheeling , go carts, and Jet-skiing. Anything is possible, so let us know in a comment below or vote in a poll I put on our facebook page this morning. Don’t forget to “like” while your there to show your favorite extreme camps some love.

Extreme Blob jumping

There was a time we did “The Blob” thing here at extreme camps. We took it off the menu a few years ago to make room for some new activities, but watching videos like this one below almost make us want to bring that thing back. It is one thing to see this used by some traditional summer camp on a lake lamosamo, but to get to heights of 55ft? Dang…

Something tells us that blob jumping this extreme might get accompanied by some extreme lawsuits if we tried that kind of stuff around here.

Extreme Camps through the Years- Videos

It’s nice to be part of the bigger picture of Teen Mania Ministries as a camp. Not only do we get to use all the equipment for our worship sets while the conference production team is at our home base for the summer, but we get to tap into our media department for a video or two every year.

School of Worship’s band camp last summer

Here’s a quick video from our friends over at The School of Worship last summer at Extreme Camps. They put the Band Camp to help aspiring worship leaders sharpen their skills during their week long stay at camps.

Hello from Extreme Camps!

The countdown continues as summer is fast approaching! It has been an exciting off season as we line up bands and speakers and prepare in every way to make summer 2011 another summer you and your youth group will not forget! To remind you of what Extreme Camps is all about check out this testimony from a past camper.

“This week was amazing. I saw how much time I was have spending on TV and the computer and other things and how little time I was spending on god. I prayed and made a decision that I will spend a lot more time on Him. I also decided to give up MTV and not watch it anymore. I hope this will help me worship God in everything I do and live my whole life for God. This is my third year at camp and it just keeps getting better and better. Thanks so much for giving your life to getting kids closer to God. This camp is a life changing experience.”

This year we will once again have Leeland and the school of worship and are excited to be bringing out Lacrae and Jimmy Needam! Our line up of speakers is full of great men and women who have sought the Lord with all their heart and now have a message to bring that will leave an impact not just for a moment but for a life time. Speakers this year include Ron luce, Mike Guzzardo, Aaron Davis, Phil Chalmers, Heath Stoner, Randy Olsson, Emmie Harper, and David Hasz.
